Vimala has extensive experience in various integrative healthcare settings, both internationally and in the United States. In Chennai, India, she collaborated with orthopedic doctors and physical therapists in a free clinic to treat patients. She also worked as an Acupuncturist in an IVF center, focusing on patients undergoing egg retrieval procedures and embryo transfers.
In Australia, Vimala , completed her masters of nursing science. She also delved deeper into fertility and worked in clinical environments alongside a midwife, specializing in women's health. She provided
Acupuncture treatments for patients dealing with infertility, undergoing IVF, and for those who were pregnant or postpartum.
Vimala moved to Austin in 2018 to be closer to her family and partner. She continued her work in an Acupuncture group practice specializing in fertility and women's health. During this time, she became a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental and Reproductive Medicine.
Vimala has helped hundreds of couples conceive, and always takes into consideration the needs of her patients.
With her nursing background and extensive experience working with the medical community, Vimala takes an integrative approach to care. She advises her clients to consult their doctors before adding any supplements to their regimen. Additionally, she benefits from the guidance of her father, a retired OB/GYN with over 40 years of experience, who serves on her advisory board.
